The Kapitan and the Amerikana

It was December when my friend and I went to two restaurants in Marikina. One is mostly like a Spanish-colonial-styled house and the other one is…somewhat odd but interesting. As I did on my previous post, I’ll be sharing pictures that I took of things I find interesting on these places.

The first one we went to is Café Kapitan.

Why there’s a pail here?

Oh…Well…?

This is where it is located. It is only blocks away from the Shoe/Footwear Museum

The other one is Pan de Amerikana. The reason I find it odd is maybe because of the variety of things seen here.

A baker, a lamp post and some other things.

Well again…

Why is there a boat on the tree?

Just maybe…after all, you’re my water waaall…

There’s a windmill here. By the looks of it, its just there for aesthetics.

Here’s their schedule. I hope this still applies up to this day.

Sometimes being “odd” makes a place really awesome. It turns out that this place is often used for pre-nuptial photos. These restaurants are good places to go to in Marikina. If you are planning to visit the city, check out these restaurants and you’ll see. 🙂
