My Review on Hacksaw Ridge

It’s been awhile since I last watch a new war movie. I believe the last one I saw was “Fury” starring Brad Pitt, Jon “The Punisher” Bernthal, The guy from “Percy Jackson”, and Shia Labeouf. There is also that Mexican guy from “Ant-man” included in the film.

Anyway, here is the latest war movie I am going to review.

Hacksaw Ridge is a story about a young man who signed in to the US Army as a medic. One thing special about the movie is that the guy, because of his strong religious belief, refuses the use of firearm. He got through training and even went to enemy soil without holding one. His persistence is beyond amazing.

This is actually a good inspirational movie. It even has these scenes you can compare to the opening scene of “Saving Private Ryan”. It even has funny moments too. The story is based on true events. It is actually a nice film to watch.

I’ll give this movie a rating of 8 out of 10. 🙂
