Learning Through the Chinese Brush

I was invited to a workshop on how to paint the Chinese way. It was part of an event in SM North Edsa prior to the opening of the Chan Lim Family of Artists and Students Exhibit where amazing Chinese paintings “Kung fu kick” their artistry in public.

Alex Chan Lim, one of the masters ( as I like to call him, and yes, I am a fan of Kung Fu movies) of this exquisite style, let us conduct an interview and even showed us the way of using the chinese brush.

We got a chance to make a few of our own, thanks to the amazing people of Chan Lim who also guided us as we work with our oriental art.
