The Avengers are back with a new mission. The movie started with a battle scene. It is kinda cool for they already laid the foundation of the team on the previous one, so they can go first with a team-up fight scenes and they have fighting combos with great chemistry. The bond they have as a team went out pretty well. The story-telling is great. They build-up the unlikely characters to become like-able to the point where you don’t (really) want them to die. But there is a twist here. Pretty unfortunate for a certain character, a different take on what happen to the character in another movie (yes, that is a clue).

Ultron is the main villain here (well, obviously). an AI murdering menace who seeks for human extinction. And as it goes, just like other superhero stories, the Avengers are the only ones that stands in his way. Ultron is an interesting character. He is very human-like because of his emotions, in which makes him pretty scary.

The movie somehow left some questions on how Tony got back as Ironman because if you watched Ironman 3, he already gave up the life of being a superhero. Some scenes that are suppose to be funny, didn’t work. And the accent the twins (Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver) were making isn’t that convincing.

The battle scenes are amazing. Joss Whedon made a terrific job on making scenes that consolidates all the fights of the each Avenger. The fight scene between the Hulkbuster Ironman and the Hulk is so great, it is one of my favorite fight scenes of all the movies I have watched. Such fight scenes will make any viewer or Marvel fan watch this all over again.

I’ll give this movie a 9 out of 10. 🙂
