The Filipino Komiks Market or Komiket is an event that showcases great Filipino comics or Komiks. It was first launched in the Elements tent at Centris located on Quezon Ave. cor. EDSA.
The place is pretty big and it has chandeliers. Something pretty unusual but interesting for a Comics event.
I went on every table (or stall or artist booth) and managed to take pictures of most of them.
The Yabang Pinoy Table. It has storybooks and notebooks that is great for everyone.
Visprint table. Consists of works of Manix Abrera, Trese of Budjette Tan and Kajo Baldisimo, books of Freely Abrigo and Zsazsa Zaturnnah by Carlo Vergara.

This event is amazing. From checking out artworks, buying great komiks, receiving freebies to meeting up with friends. Filipino Comics or Komiks is so much alive here.
There will be a 2nd Komiket on October. Another event to look forward to. 🙂
